In an automatic mold part producing apparatus having a mold chamber which is filled with mold forming material that subsequently is compressed between a pair of opposite end walls, or pattern boards the mold forming material is forced into said mold chamber by means of pressurized air, the pressure of which is gradually or stepwise increased during the chamber filling operation, for the purpose of achieving uniform compactness or density of the mold forming material throughout the height of the mold chamber.

The device contains a pressing chamber 1 with a bottom 2 and an upper wall 3, side walls x and two end walls 4 and 5. Wall 4 carries the molding plate b, and wall 5 carries the model part 7. The pressing chamber is connected to the pickup bin 8 through the groove 9 in the upper wall 3. The hopper 8 is connected through one or more pipes 10 to the valve 11 with one or two receivers 12 (reservoir with compressed air).
The device shown in FIG. 2 has two receivers 12, which are connected through separate pipes 10a and 106 with valves On and 11b to a feed hopper 8.
In the device shown in FIG. 3, the hopper 8 is connected by two pipes 10a and 106 with valves Ha and 116 with a single receiver 12.
In the device shown in FIG. 4, the hopper 8 is connected to one receiver 12 by one pipe 10, equipped with an adjustable valve 11c, which can be adjusted according to a predetermined program that changes the flow cross section, or, depending on pressure, so as to provide the desired filling process for chamber 1
The device works as follows.
The hopper 8 is filled with molding sand to the level indicated by the dotted line 13, and is isolated from the encapsulated environment. At the beginning of the filling of the pressing chamber 1 (Fig. 2), only the valve On is open and it is assumed that both receivers 12 have the same initial pressure. When chamber 1 is partially filled, the second valve 116 is opened, as a result of which an increased
pressure above the sand in the hopper 8. This increase in pressure requires an increased air supply per unit of time, as the volume above the sand gradually increases.
Two receivers 12 have different initial pressures and, possibly, different capacities, and valves Na and 11b can operate alternately, so that at the current time, only one of these valves is open. The air flow through the valves can be adjusted as desired.
The device shown in FIG. 3. Can operate in the same way as the device shown in FIG. 2
In the device shown in Fig. 4, the adjustable valve 11b is adjusted according to a predetermined program that provides the desired process of filling the chamber 1.

Invention Formula
An automatic device for making casting molds, comprising a horizontal pressing chamber, two opposite end walls, at least one of which has the ability to move in the axial direction, the power supply hopper connected to the pressing chamber and the compressed air supply system, characterized in that the purpose of obtaining forms with uniform density in height, the supply hopper is connected through two series-acting valves with one or two receivers or through one control valve en with one receiver.
